German-French Exchange Meeting – we are looking for participants!

A cooperation between the Studierendenwerk Freiburg, Chemnitz and Besancon has existed for many years. A meeting in one of the three towns takes place every year. This year the partnership meeting is being held in Freiburg from 13-18thJune 2016. The topic of this year’s exchange programme is student accommodation.

In addition to the discussion round and topic-based sightseeing, an interesting and diverse free time programme will also be organised. All points on the programme will be addressed in German and French. Students from Freiburg, who want to take part in the exchange week should get in touch with the Studierendenwerk to apply. Participance is free of charge, any travel, catering or entry costs will be covered. Knowledge of French is recommended but not a requirement.

The prize giving for the German-French ‘Tandem’ photo competition takes place during the exchange week. In photo competitions carried out by German and French Students Unions last year, students were encouraged to send in a photo based on the relationship between Germany and France. The photos are displayed in an exhibition that will be opened on the 17th June in the Mensa Bistro on Rempartstraße. The prize giving will also take place there with the two winners.

The full programme is available to download on the right hand side.

The program is supported by Deutsch-Französisches Jugendwerk (DFJW).
