With the semester ticket, students can travel throughout the entire network of the Regio-Verkehrsverbund Freiburg (RVF) for a whole semester for only €98.00. The semester ticket is valid on all trams, buses and S-Bahn trains (2nd class / no ICE, IC or EC trains) in the city of Freiburg as well as in the districts of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen. Students can therefore use it not only for commuting to university but also for leisure activities.
Without the semester ticket, the following applies: From 7:00 p.m. until the end of service, as well as on Sundays and public holidays, all students can travel free of charge on RVF buses and trains. However, certain proof requirements apply here as well.
