The dormitories at Grosshausberg are impressing by their prominent architecture. The two 12-floor high buildings, house no 2 and no 9, are located on the hillside with a nice view to the town or the forest. Students live here in single apartments. On the 12th floor in house no 9 the students have their bar and meeting point "Speicher" which means storage.  

In house no 4, 6 and 8 we offer small 2- and 3-room apartments for always 2 students. Some of the rooms dispose of a little balcony.

The University Furtwangen is easy to reach within a short walking distance.

Direction to the dormitory Grosshausberg:

• Arrival in Freiburg central train station
• Take exit "Hauptausgang" and follow the bus sign (ZOB) to the central bus station
• Take bus no. 7206 direction Waldkirch
• Change bus in Waldkirch main station to bus no. 7272 direction Furtwangen until station "Ilbenstraße"
• Turn into Bregstraße for about 200 m than turn right into "Baumannstrasse". Turn right into "Bahnhofstrasse" and cross the big street L 173 (Martin-Schmitt-Strasse). Follow straight ahead into "Am Grosshausberg".
