U3 Child care centres

Student Services offers child day care for parent students in three of their day care centres and has document rights in university-based facilities.

In our two U3 day-care centres "Pusteblume" (PH-Campus, Kunzenweg 17) and "Kleine Knöpfe" (near the university centre, Glacisweg 3) we offer 100 places for one to three year olds and in the day-care centre "Wolkengarten" ten full-day places for infants from the third month of age. In the day care centres "Pusteblume" and "Wolkengarten" only full-day places are offered. In the day care centre "Kleine Knöpfe" you can choose between morning, afternoon or full-day places, depending on the child's needs and stage of development.
The educators work according to a pedagogically and developmentally psychologically sound care concept, which includes close and regular communication with the parents. The care takes place according to a reference person system in which each child has a fixed reference person. In this way, the children quickly become familiar with their new environment and the parents can go to lectures with confidence.
The registration can be arranged by telephone directly with the head of the day care centre, registration for the day care centre "Wolkengarten" with the social counselling service of the Studentenwerk Freiburg or directly with the management of the institution.  

You can register for a spot at our day care facilities directly with the director of the corresponding day care centers by telephone arrangement.
