Heute fahren wir gemeinsam mit der S-Bahn nach Waldkirch und begeben uns auf die Spuren der Schwarzwaldtiere. Im Schwarzwaldzoo, in welchem es tatsächlich nicht nur Schwarzwaldtiere wie Fuchs, Luchs und Uhu gibt, sondern auch Stachelschweine, Kängurus und sprechende Papageien, werden wir von einem Tierpfleger durch den Zoo geführt und erleben eine gemeinsame Fütterungsrunde. Wer möchte, kann hier sogar die Schafe und Ziegen selbst füttern (1,50 Euro pro Person; nicht im Preis inkludiert). Im Anschluss bleibt genügend Zeit, den Zoo nochmal auf eigene Faust zu erkunden oder sich auf dem Spielplatz mit Hüpfkissen auszutoben. Am Nachmittag finden noch mal zwei öffentliche Schaufütterungen von Luchs/Fuchs und Stachelschwein statt, bevor wir uns wieder auf den Heimweg nach Freiburg machen.

Achtung! Vom Bahnhof in den Schwarzwaldzoo liegen ca. 1,1 km Fußweg vor uns! Bei kleinen Kindern empfehlen wir das Mitbringen einer Trage oder eines Kinderwagens!

Anreise: Die Fahrt mit den ÖPNV ist nicht im Preis enthalten. Wer kein gültiges Ticket für den ÖPNV hat, muss dies vor der Fahrt kaufen. Eigene Anreise möglich.

Today we will be taking the S-Bahn together to Waldkirch and following the traces of the Black Forest animals. In the Black Forest Zoo, where not only Black Forest animals like foxes, lynxes, and owls are found, but also porcupines, kangaroos, and talking parrots, we will be guided through the zoo by an animal keeper and experience a joint feeding session. For those interested, there is even an opportunity to feed the sheep and goats yourself (€1.50 per person; not included in the price). Afterwards, there will be enough time to explore the zoo on your own or let off steam on the playground with inflatable cushions. In the afternoon, there are two more public feeding sessions for lynxes/foxes and porcupines before we make our way back to Freiburg.

Attention! There is approximately a 1.1 km walk from the train station to the Black Forest Zoo! For small children, we recommend bringing a carrier or stroller!

Participation fee includes entry to the zoo with a feeding session and a StudiTour guide.

Travel: Public transportation fare is not included in the price. Those without a valid public transportation ticket must purchase one before the journey. Private transportation is also possible.

Meeting Point & Return: Around 1:00 PM in Freiburg / Around 6:00 PM in Freiburg

Registrations with the number of participants (adults and children) and a contact phone number should be sent only by email to studitours@swfr.de. You will then receive a booking confirmation. Payment is only possible after a successful booking and can be made via bank transfer or in cash at the Infoladen.
