Sie wuseln wieder durchs Museum und erobern die Herzen im Sturm: gelbe, braune, schwarze, gefleckte und gestreifte Küken. Dabei sind sie nicht nur süß, sie sind auch Botschafter für einen respektvollen Umgang mit Tieren. Wer mucksmäuschenstill ist und am Schaubrüter die Ohren spitzt, hört vielleicht schon ein leises Piepen im Ei oder das Knacksen der Schale. Mit ganz viel Glück erleben Geduldige den magischen Moment, wenn ein Küken schlüpft. Nach einer privaten Familienführung für unsere Gruppe, bei der wir alles darüber erfahren, was Hühner zum Glücklichsein brauchen, wie eine nachhaltige Nutztierhaltung aussieht und was wir alle dazu beitragen können, werden wir noch bei einem gemeinsamen Workshop „Konfetti Eier“ gestalten. Denn nicht nur beim heimischen Osterfest – rund um den Globus spielen Eier eine wichtige Rolle. Vom mexikanischen Glücks- bis zum malaysischen Blumen-Ei: Die Ethnologische Sammlung stellt Traditionen und Feste aus aller Welt vor. Klein und Groß bemalen Eier und füllen sie mit selbstgemachtem Konfetti – fertig sind die mexikanischen Glückseier!

Bitte mitbringen: Für den Workshop sollte jedes Kind zwei ausgeblasene Eier mitbringen; Farbe egal.

Die Führung und der Workshop wird für Kinder ab 4 Jahren empfohlen. Kleinere Kinder (sowie Geschwisterbabies) sind selbstverständlich auch willkommen, benötigen aber bei dem Workshop ggf. mehr Mithilfe der Eltern.

They are bustling through the museum again, capturing hearts with a storm: yellow, brown, black, spotted, and striped chicks. Not only are they cute, but they also serve as ambassadors for a respectful treatment of animals. Those who are incredibly quiet and attentive at the display incubator may hear a faint chirping inside the egg or the cracking of the shell. With a lot of luck, patient individuals may witness the magical moment when a chick hatches. After a private family tour for our group, where we learn everything about what makes chickens happy, what sustainable animal farming looks like, and what we can all contribute, we will engage in a joint workshop to create "Confetti Eggs." Because not only during the local Easter festival – eggs play an important role worldwide. From the Mexican luck egg to the Malaysian flower egg: The Ethnological Collection introduces traditions and festivals from around the world. Young and old paint eggs and fill them with homemade confetti – and there you have the Mexican lucky eggs!

Please note: Persons over 27 years of age must pay an additional €5.00 for admission to the museum, as the discount no longer applies here.

Bring along: For the workshop, each child should bring two blown-out eggs; color doesn't matter.

The tour and workshop are recommended for children aged 4 and above. Younger children (including baby siblings) are, of course, also welcome but may require more assistance from parents during the workshop.

Payment is only possible after a successful booking and can be made via bank transfer or in cash at the Infoladen.
