Franco-German journalism project for Students
"Voices against racism and populism"
No place for hate and prejudice in everyday life and on the internet
- Call for proposals -
You want to write an article, shoot a report or produce a podcast? You are interested in racism and populism? Then our media and blog project is just right for you! We invite you to join one of 3 teaching and learning editorial teams to produce your own feature. So you can choose between the (1) text, (2) film or (3) podcast team. From concept to publication, you will be supported by young German-French journalists. Don’t worry – previous journalistic experience is not a requirement.

We will learn to explore and reflect on the topics of populism and racism from a theoretical perspective with trainers from the Anti-Racism Information Center, ARIC-NRW e.V.
Dates: 4 x 120 minutes – 24. & 31. October, 07. & 14. November from 6 pm to 8 pm
We will all get to know each other personally and the editorial offices will start their work. In our free time, we will discover Freiburg and its surroundings with a diverse sightseeing program.
Dates:
- Friday 3.11. to Sunday 5.11. (arrival and hotel check-in on Friday until 4 pm)
- Friday 17.11. to Sunday 19.11. (arrival and hotel check-in on Friday until 4 pm)
- as well as Saturday 2.12.
Eligible are students of Universities and Colleges as well as Associations of Student Unions and CROUS: Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Karlsruhe and Freiburg.
Working languages: German and French
Maximum age: 30 years
Participation in the online workshop "Populism and Racism" and in the on-site meetings in Freiburg is mandatory for participants.
The maximum permissible absenteeism is 25% in each case (online as well as in presence).
Participation in the project is free of charge (incl. meals, travel costs, accommodation). You do not need money.
A maximum of 8 participants will be admitted to each editorial office.
Participants will receive a certificate of participation in French as well as in German at the end of the project.

Tu as envie d’écrire un article, de réaliser un film ou de faire un podcast ? Tu t’intéresses au racisme et au populisme ? Alors notre projet est exactement ce qu'il te faut ! Nous t'invitons à participer à l'une des 3 rédactions de formation et d'apprentissage. Tu peux choisir entre les rédactions (1) texte, (2) film ou (3) podcast. Du concept à la publication, tu seras accompagné(e) par de jeunes journalistes franco-allemandes. Ne t'inquiètes pas – une expérience préalable en journalisme n'est pas nécessaire.

Atelier théorique sur le racisme et le populisme avec des formateurs/formatrices franco-allemands du Anti-Rassismus Informations-Centrum (ARIC-NRW e.V)
Dates : 4 x 120 minutes – 24 & 31 octobre, 07 & 14 novembre de 18h à 20h.
Nous ferons connaissance en personne et les équipes de rédaction commenceront leur travail. Pendant notre temps libre, nous découvrirons Fribourg et ses environs grâce à un programme touristique varié.
Dates:
- du vendredi 3.11. au dimanche 5.11. (arrivée et enregistrement à l'hôtel le vendredi avant 16h)
- du vendredi 17.11. au dimanche 19.11. (arrivée et enregistrement à l'hôtel le vendredi avant 16h)
- et samedi 2.12.
Les étudiants des universités et des instituts d'enseignement supérieur, ainsi que des associations d'étudiants et des CROUS : Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Karlsruhe et Fribourg.
Les langues de travail sont : Français et Allemand.
Âge maximal : 30 ans
La participation à l'atelier en ligne "Populisme et racisme" et aux réunions en présentiel à Fribourg est obligatoire pour la participation.
Les absences autorisées sont de 25 % maximum (en ligne ainsi qu'en présentiel).
La participation au projet est gratuite (y compris les repas, le transport et le logement). Tu n'as pas besoin d'argent.
Pour les rédactions, 8 participants au maximum sont admis à chaque fois.
Les participants reçoivent un certificat de participation en français et en allemand à la fin du projet.
