Together with the contract you got a note with the contact details for the dormitory administration as well as the responsible facility manager of your dormitory.
You can contact the facility manager in person or by phone during the indicated office hours or by email. If you have questions regarding the contract, please contact the relevant staff member of the dormitory administration.
Key Pickup for the 2026/27 Winter Semester
for the dormitories in Freiburg
October 1, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
October 2, 2026 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
October 5 – October 8, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
October 9, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
October 12 – October 15, 2026 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
October 16, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Starting October 19, 2026, by appointment with the technical staff member or during their office hours.
If it is not possible for you to collect your key during the facility managers’ office hours or during the extended office hours, you can make use of our so-called Digisafe that you can find at almost all of our student residences and into which the key can be deposited. A fee will be charged for this service, which has to be registered at least 3 days in advance.
It's also possible to authorize a person to collect your keys. You will find an authorization for key-collection on our website for this purpose.
The authorized person hast to present the printed (!) filled in/signed authorization during the office-hours of the facility-manager in order to receive your keys.
