BAföG advising at our information desk informs students on how much financial aid is available to them and helps out with further BAföG queries.

The first step is to go to the Studierendenwerks information desk at Basler Straße 2, which is open Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm. An appointment is not necessary.

Every year there is a surplus of federal funding amounting to millions of euros. The main reason for this is that many students do not apply for BAföG even though they are eligible.
